Bansko is quickly becoming a popular year-round resort town, full of exciting possibilities for sports and outdoor activities in the summer, as well as in the winter. Activities range from adrenaline pumping paragliding, white-water rafting, and mountain biking in the summer, skiing, snowboarding, and skating in the winter; to more relaxing ones like walking, mountain trekking, hunting, and fishing. A couple of golf courses are being built in close proximity of Bansko. There are a number of specialised spa centres, using natural mineral water, just outside of the town. Plans have been revealed for the construction of a new sports and entertainment centre with an Olympic size swimming pool very close to our Chalet in addition to tennis courts and the town Stadium, which are also nearby. To relax you after a long day of sports and activities there is fitness studio, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and a steam room at the Chalet.
